Didgeridoo and percussion afficionado Vince Sanregret,  is the driving force behind Hollowed Sound an electro-acoustic outfit that can be found live at festivals,  intimate acoustic venues, workshops, or laying down the beat at dance parties.

Somewhere, in the pulsing rhythms, the deep physical drone,  the  dark growls and piercing calls, Vince seems to find his inner voice. His skill and love for the instrument shine through. Inevitably, in the process,  transforming the audience and
transporting them into his own unique, magical, musical world.

Hollowed Sound is based on the Upper Sunshine Coast ( qathet) and has played  across Canada. Vince has performed solo and with a variety of bands and musicians. Performing at diverse and reputable venues like the Jubilee Auditorium (Edmonton), Pachena Bay Festival, the North Country Fair (Jousard),  the Fringe Festival, Secret Beach, Gazebo (Lund), Cranberry Hall and the Sunshine Coast Music Festival, to name but a few.

Vince has worked on multiple recording projects. He has two album releases. Yigi Yigi with his band Smac, and Fuzzy Freedom  with Neko Rei, which can be found on his  bandcamp page

Some of the people Vince has graced the stages with include Ganga Giri, Neko Rei, The Stone Merchants, Eddie Patterson, Anselmo, Karina Inkster and many more.

Vince's  love for Psytrance music has  has seen him play with DJ's or solo at multiple dance festivals and parties.

If there is a beach party, camp fire, communal event, or just some fun to be had, Vince will often be spotted with his didge and/or djembe to help set the atmosphere.  Even his dog Ozzy has been know to sneak in on the fun.

Vince's skill, understanding of and love for the didgeridoo shines through every time, where ever he picks up the instrument.

Vince has also been performing in a duo with Karina Inkster, local dynamo, didge, accordian and djembe player, as well as host of the weekly No-BS Vegan podcast on CJMP radio and much more.

Here is an off-the-floor recording of a new tune, Dromedary Dream, during rehearsal. It features Dr. Sasha on drums, all around musician/DJ Chad on bass and Anselmo on guitar. Level is kind of low, so turn it up!
